Marcel-Saint-Pierre Artist-in-Residence Program, 765 rue des Patriotes, Laval
The City of Laval is pleased to invite you to an afternoon of study and reflection on public art at the new Marcel-Saint-Pierre Artist-in-Residence Program. At a time when municipal policies on public art seem to have reached certain limits, the Art and Heritage Division of the Department of Culture, Recreation, Sports, and Social Development proposes to initiate a collective discussion on the evolution of public art, drawing on best practices observed in Quebec.
This event, featuring presentations and interdisciplinary discussions organized around two panel sessions, aims to explore how municipalities can integrate artistic creation into the fabric of the city.
