A CALQ residency for people with disabilities and deaf artists will be launched at the Théâtre du Rideau Vert

The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Théâtre du Rideau Vert announce a new creative residency entirely dedicated to artists with disabilities and deaf artists!

Starting in winter 2026, artists will be able to apply for a five-month residency, including 120 hours of studio time, at Théâtre du Rideau Vert between February and July 2027 and 2028. The CALQ will support each residency with a $30,000 grant awarded to the selected artist or collective.
