A look back at our regional deployments

5 to 7 in Rimouski

On May 19, REPAIRE was in Rimouski for a friendly 5 to 7 at the Coopérative Paradis. The co-op is a welcoming hub for creativity, work, and cultural outreach, a must-visit in Rimouski. As a vibrant cultural hub, its mission is ambitious: to be a space for collaboration, sharing, and cooperation that supports bold creativity and promotes access to the arts from here and abroad. Those in attendance had the opportunity to discuss the unique characteristics of the Bas-Saint-Laurent arts ecosystem, and our colleague Alexis Langevin-Tétrault also presented the results of our project for Lieux Équipements Expertises (LEE) members regarding this region. Thank you to the participants for the enriching and valuable discussions that helped us better understand your reality! Please feel free to reach out to us at any time if you would like REPAIRE to join your activities, initiate discussions around your respective issues, and keep you informed about our latest projects.

Composite #46 in Montreal

On June 3, REPAIRE participated in the Composite #46 event, which marked the opening of Lab 545 in Montreal. The event aims to create a recurring meeting space for the art community and the digital industry, fostering collaboration and cross-pollination among creators, artist-run centers, organizations, companies, and digital professionals. Composite is a quarterly networking event dedicated to “digital creativity.” It was launched by the Conseil des arts de Montréal and is coordinated by MAPP_MTL. Hosted by Ateliers Belleville, Eastern Bloc and the Goethe Institut, the event provided an opportunity to present the Distributed Cooperative Network (RCD) project to the local community and engage with the arts community. REPAIRE closely follows “digital creativity” initiatives and advocates for the interests of the independent arts.
