This progress was made possible by a significant increase in the Council’s budget granted by the Martinez Ferrada administration. This important policy decision has made it possible to invest nearly $1.6 million more.

This new investment will increase the grants for 65% of the organizations receiving four-year operating support by an average of 15%, based on peer evaluations conducted in 2024 and 2025 and a clear commitment to strengthening Montreal’s arts ecosystem. As announced, their intention was to avoid “spreading resources too thinly”; therefore, principles and criteria aligned with actual needs were prioritized to address the community’s most urgent needs.

REPAIRE is among the 65% of organizations that have seen their funding increased and would like to extend its warmest thanks to the CAM.
