As part of our regional outreach efforts, on June 4, our digital cultural development officer, Alexis Trépanier, attended the ZinK (zine + ink) event, a fair dedicated to zines and print art. The first edition took place at the Pavillon Armand-Nadeau in Sherbrooke. ZinK brought together artists, publishers, and collectives focused on DIY, experimental, and independent practices.
The event aims to invigorate the local scene and create an accessible and vibrant space for showcasing creative work. ZinK is organized in collaboration with the Salon du livre de l’Estrie, the Sporobole artist-run center, REPAIRE, and the Sherbrooke Zine Club.
