REPAIRE is pleased to partner with the 44th International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) as a partner of the Avant-garde section, a program dedicated to exploratory artistic and cinematographic practices.
Avant-garde is a non-competitive, invitation-only section curated by Montreal-based visual arts curator and author eunice bélidor. This selection highlights artistic explorations through film, cinema, and video. Through the lens of Avant-garde, a movement that marked the advent of contemporary and current practices, FIFA presents innovative and experimental films that blend disciplines and propose artistic and cinematographic practices that push boundaries and challenge established conventions.
