Vidéographe is proud to announce that the 2026 Robert Forget Award goes to curator, researcher, and author Nicole Gingras, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the development, dissemination, and promotion of the moving image in Quebec.
Active since the 1980s, Nicole Gingras has played a decisive role in supporting and promoting works from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and around the world. Through her sustained commitment as a programmer, independent curator, author, editor, and educator, she has mentored several generations of artists and helped shape new approaches to moving image practices. The jury for this third edition was composed of Rachel Echenberg, Mathieu Li-Goyette, and Maude Trottier.
